Gutter Clean-Out to Stop Overflow and Water Damage
Old Strathcona, Edmonton, AB · June 2026
Why they called us
The gutters on this Edmonton home were packed with debris. Instead of carrying water to the downspouts, they were holding it and overflowing over the edge — running down the wall and pooling toward the foundation.
Overflowing gutters are one of the cheapest problems to fix and one of the most expensive to ignore: left long enough they lead to fascia rot, basement seepage, and foundation issues. The homeowner wanted them cleared before the next heavy rain.
Our solution
We fully cleared the debris out of the gutter run, flushed the troughs and downspouts, and confirmed water was actually flowing through to the ground and away from the house.
While up there, the crew checked the gutter line and roof edge so nothing else was quietly setting up to overflow.
The result
The gutters and downspouts drain freely again, moving water away from the walls and foundation the way they should.
A quick, inexpensive visit that heads off a much bigger water-damage repair down the road — the kind of maintenance worth doing every year in Alberta.
