Why they called us
This Edmonton roof was past patching. The shingles had reached the end of their life, and once the crew started the tear-off, sections of the decking underneath turned out to need replacing before anything new could go back on.
The homeowner wanted it done right — a proper system down to the deck — not another layer of shingles laid over old problems that would come back in a few years.
Our solution
We completed a full tear-off down to the deck, replaced the damaged sheathing with new decking, and laid RESISTO synthetic underlayment across the whole roof as a secondary water barrier under the shingles.
New IKO shingles went on over top with proper starter, courses, and detailing — a correctly-built roof system rather than a surface patch. The job was staged over two days so each section was closed in properly as we went.

The home has a brand-new roof from the deck up, built to shed water and stand up to Alberta wind, snow load, and freeze-thaw.
